I'd like to share a little tongue-in-cheek "About Me" blurb, written for me by a fellow broker who knows my background and decided to compose something for me. I'm sharing it with you because it's, hilariously, not far from the truth...

'If you're thinking about buying or selling a home, you have come to the right place. Real estate pulses through my veins. Like large farm families raised to work the earth, my mother raised me to provide unerring and tireless real estate service. My first words were “galvanized plumbing” when I was 10 months old and able to worm through a crawl space. Dinner would be served only after creating a thorough Comparative Market Analysis, accurate to within $5,000.' 

I come to you with a background in real estate, and though my first words probably weren't "galvanized plumbing," but they might as well have been. My family has worked in the real estate industry for decades, and collectively we've covered nearly every kind of transaction you can imagine. Some of us are licensed brokers representing sellers on listings or guiding buyers through the process of finding that home that makes them smile until their faces hurt. Some of us are former mortgage brokers who found new passion in real estate photography, and to put the cherry on the sundae, the man I ended up marrying is a very fine home inspector (if I may say so myself). When we are able to get together for family dinners, the conversation might not thrill other guests all the time, but there's no shortage of knowledge around the table. That constant exchange of knowledge, experience, and ideas is what helps us all to be better people and better advisors to our clients, just as I have the constant support and experience of my entire Windermere family of agents and staff at my fingertips.
